The Point Russell LeisurePlex is proudly owned and operated by Point Russell and is one of countries premier sports and aquatic centres. It was built by Council in partnership with the State Government.

Every Body is welcome at the LeisurePlex. The facility has been developed to provide leisure, recreation and wellbeing opportunities for all segments of the community – people aged six months to 75 plus. Let us help you achieve your health and fitness goals, have fun or relax.

Indoor Pool

Whether your looking for some fun water play, a fitness focus or some rest and relaxation, our aquatic facilities have an area to suit you with a range of indoor pools available.

Swim School

It’s never too early or too late to learn to swim! Our Aquatic Education programs cater for all age groups, ranging from 6 months to adults. Build confidence and take your time with our weekly class.

Aqua Aerobics

Tone and sculpt your body with no impact to your joints. This popular water aerobics workout is a swimming blend of cardio and resistance training perfectly suited for seniors.

Gymnasium

Fitness Studio

For all crossfitters, the Point Russell fitness studio is purpose built for cardio sessions like never before. Sweat it out while having some fun at our studio.

Personal Training

Get the results you're seeking faster with individualised training from one of our highly qualified fitness experts. Our PTs are all accredited with leading institutions.

Kids Creche

Get active while the kids have fun too! Our Creche is fully registered, and approved as a restricted child care service for a maximum of 21 children per session.

Group Fitness

A group fitness experience like no other. We’ve recruited some of the best instructors in Melbourne and our three studios have been designed with both fitness and fun in mind.

Outdoor Pool

The eight lane, Olympic size 50 metre pool is available all year round as the perfect facility for lap swimming and cooling off in the heat. The 50 metre pool is heated to a comfortable 26 degrees.
